Saturday, April 11 – Sveti Jure Trail

A more demanding trail that passes through the beautiful and untouched landscape of Pag Island, with fantastic views from several viewpoints. The trail leads through the remains of a Byzantine fortress and the Church of St. Jure, as well as old stone houses and shepherd shelters that tell the story of life on Pag in the past.
The trail offers many unique views of Paška vrata, Malin, Sušac, Slana Bay, and the islet of Maškalic. You can also see fossils that are 30 million years old.
In addition to the remains of the Byzantine fortress and church, the trail also includes a lookout point and a military structure from World War II, as well as the Krancićevi dwellings, all bearing witness to past life on the island.
